It’s the comfort in knowing that many of us are shuffling closely, huddling around the fireplace, bringing our hearts to the hearth.
And this is precisely what we, at Taste of Immokalee, aim to accomplish this year with the help of our local businesses. For this year’s holiday season, we decided to focus on the theme of “collaboration”. We are collaborating with local SWFL businesses by including some of their products in our holiday bundles, to bring joy into your homes and businesses.
HOW WE GIVE BACK
We are Taste of Immokalee, a student-run social business that sells great tasting products for the purpose of giving back to our community. Profits from every gift basket purchased are used to:
- Alleviate poverty in Immokalee, one of Florida’s poorest communities
- All profits are poured back into the nonprofit Taste the Impact to continue funding the program and providing more underserved students with the life-changing skills and college scholarships needed to break the cycle of poverty throughout our community.
- Raise up future business leaders, career-ready and eager to make a positive impact in their community and beyond
