Community Foundation of Collier County
Our mission is to improve the quality of life in Collier County by connecting donors to community needs and providing leadership on critical community issues. For good. Forever.
All community foundations share the common goal of serving donors, nonprofit organizations, and the community as a whole. We are designed to pool charitable donations into a coordinated investment and distribute scholarships and grants dedicated to positive change.
In 2017, the Community Foundation of Collier County teamed with Tamiami Angel Funds to invest in the future success of Taste of Immokalee.
Tamiami Angel Funds
The Tamiami Family of Funds are Angel Funds with the goal of building a portfolio of high potential, emerging growth companies. As shared in this article, Taste of Immokalee students pitched their company to the group’s investors and they were “won over by their entrepreneurial drive to succeed. They are at the vanguard of the trend of social investing, which considers both financial success and community benefits to create social change.”
Together with the Community Foundation of Collier County, Tamiami Angel Funds is an investor in the Taste of Immokalee social enterprise.
